Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at Thornford Park. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our service users, creating a positive and engaging environment that promotes their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver activity-based programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our service users.
- Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless care pathway.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address the social, recreational, and leisure needs of our service users.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to ensure the health, safety, and security of our service users and staff.
- Document observations, progress, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a mental health setting (desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based framework.
- Initiative, motivation, and a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Awareness of mental health and its impact on functioning.
- Annual salary of £25,351.
