Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to join our team at Barclays Bank PLC. As an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure solutions to fulfill business requirements.
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
  • Implementation of automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Implementation of a secure configuration and measures to protect infrastructure against cyber-attacks, vulnerabilities, and other security threats.

Requirements

  • Experience with IBM Mainframes and proficient in TWS, JCL, CICS, IMS, MQ, DB2.
  • Proven understanding of the Major incident and ITIL processes.
  • Knowledge of Barclays applications.
  • z/Linux experience.
