Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Planning Coordinator to join our team at Stonebond Properties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage consultant appointments and regulatory applications to ensure timely approvals.
  • Coordinate the external design team and specialist consultants to deliver construction documents within budget and schedule.
  • Arrange and manage meetings with departments to track action points and ensure efficient progress.
  • Receive, coordinate, and check information from specialist subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee the distribution of construction information and address department feedback to produce a high-quality design package.
  • Ensure Building Regulations and Warranty conditions are cleared promptly without risk to the business.
  • Resolve design and building problems by contacting relevant personnel and consultants.
  • Attend and report at monthly site project review meetings.
  • Liaise with Planning, Commercial, Health & Safety, and Sales departments.
  • Manage changes to technical project information through the company's document control platform.
  • Monitor and manage the Professional Fees budget and services budget for the development.
  • Assist in preparing legal documentation, conveyancing, management company information, and site-related legal agreements.
  • Prepare Operations and Maintenance manuals incorporating a Health and Safety File for handover to the Management Company and/or Housing Association.
  • Comply with company contracts, regulations, and administration systems in force at the time.
  • Stay up-to-date with correct building products, techniques, current building regulations, and relevant supplementary legislation.
  • Have a sound understanding of statutory requirements, including Building Regulations and NHBC Standards, and Sustainability, with the ability to interpret and negotiate compliance.
