About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cleaner to join our team at BAM UK & Ireland. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings to a high standard.
  • Ensure all floors, walls, partitions, and internal woodwork are clean and well-maintained.
  • Clean kitchen and catering areas, toilets, changing rooms, and other sanitary areas.
  • Collect and dispose of waste in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Perform special cleaning programs during designated periods.
  • Report any faulty equipment or maintenance requirements to the relevant personnel.
  • Ensure the security of premises by securing entrances and exits as necessary.
  • Monitor and manage stock and supplies, cataloging as required.
  • Maintain specialist equipment, checking for quality and safety, and reporting any damages or needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in cleaning and maintenance, although this is not essential. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
