About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing detailed estimates and cost plans for projects, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Support in the preparation of Bills of Quantities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct site measurements and prepare valuations, ensuring compliance with construction contracts and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Support in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, ensuring accurate and timely payment to contractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, such as Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and quantity surveying practices is highly desirable.
