Wildlife Curator

Located in Merseyside, Knowsley Safari is a premier wildlife destination that offers an exciting opportunity for animal enthusiasts to work with herbivores. As an Ungulate Keeper, you will be responsible for the care and management of these amazing creatures.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an Ungulate Keeper. The successful candidate will have a strong background in animal care, preferably with experience working with ungulates. A full driving license is essential, and experience driving tractors and off-road vehicles would be advantageous.

The Ungulate Keeper will be responsible for:

• Caring for the health and well-being of the ungulates, including diet, enclosure maintenance, and veterinary care
• Developing and implementing enrichment programs to stimulate the animals' natural behaviors
• Collaborating with the zoo team to ensure the smooth operation of the animal exhibits

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A relevant animal-based qualification or equivalent experience
• A full driving license
• Experience working with ungulates, preferably in a zoological setting
