Payroll Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Pro Talent. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' payrolls, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collate and process payroll data, including employee information and payment details.
  2. Run payroll using software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements:
  1. A payroll foundation level qualification or equivalent experience, preferably in an accountancy firm or payroll bureau.
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Knowledge of PAYE, Good Word, and Excel, as well as experience with payroll software such as Payroll Professional, Star, or Iris.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will have regular contact with clients and internal stakeholders, including the accounts and tax teams. You will be responsible for making decisions regarding client payrolls and researching queries related to payroll or referring them to relevant colleagues.
