Automotive Repair Specialist

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled MET Strip Fitter/MET Technician to join our team at Tru Talent. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications within a state-of-the-art body shop.
The ideal candidate will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter/MET Technician and gained a technical qualification such as NVQ/ATA/IMI/SVQ. Previous experience working as a MET Technician/MET Strip Fitter in a busy body shop is essential, along with strong team player skills and self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
- Follow correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter/MET Technician and technical qualification (e.g., NVQ/ATA/IMI/SVQ)
- Previous experience working as a MET Technician/MET Strip Fitter in a busy body shop
- Strong team player skills and self-motivation to earn bonus hours
- Experience with Geometry work and 4-wheel Alignment
- Sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
- Diagnostics training
Benefits:
- Up to £22/hour + bonus (DOE) salary
- 40-45 hour week, Monday to Friday (flexible hours)
