Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Morning School Custodian to join our team at Nirvana Managed Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our school facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize designated areas, including restrooms, offices, and common areas.
  • Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Vacuum and mop floors as needed.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred.

This is a 39-week per year position, Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 09:00, with some additional hours in school holidays.
