Establish a career as an Advanced Engineering Technician with CV Library. Our client, a leading manufacturing business in Exeter, requires a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to drive the development of automated manufacturing processes and provide support within production cells.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes, developing and implementing new advanced manufacturing equipment and automation, and reducing costs while improving current manufacturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
  • Implement new advanced manufacturing equipment and automation.
  • Reduce costs and improve current manufacturing techniques.
  • Provide support for manufacturing to improve existing processes.
Requirements
  • HNC, HND, or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 2 years current or previous experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Good understanding of tooling and fixture design & conformance.
  • Proficient in CAD.
