About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a beautiful care home in the Midlands. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, following their individual care plans and tailoring support to meet their unique needs.
  • Undertake personal care duties, including observation checks, to ensure residents' safety and hygiene.
  • Participate in activities to engage and entertain residents, promoting their well-being and quality of life.
  • Ensure the safe use of moving and handling equipment, such as hoists and slide sheets, to assist residents with mobility.
  • Oversee the health and safety of residents under your care, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to a clean and safe environment, undertaking basic cleaning duties as required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 months' paid UK work experience in a care home or nursing home setting.
  • A referenceable work history, with 2 professional reference contacts available.
  • In-date mandatory training certificates.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate.
