Join Astute's Power team in their partnership with a leading energy provider to recruit a Multiskilled Engineer with an electrical bias to work at the Recycling Centre in Stockport and Wythenshawe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading electrical tasks, assisting with mechanical issues, and carrying out reactive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure plant machinery complies with regulations through effective leadership and assistance.
  • Cover all aspects of maintenance for conveyors, balers, compactors, shredders, and other machinery.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment, including conveyors and motors.
