Jark - Cambridge is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the construction and engineering sectors. Our client, a well-established and respected M&E / Building Services firm, is seeking a talented Junior Mechanical Estimator to join their in-house Estimating division.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our Senior Estimator in the production of Mechanical tenders. As a Junior Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation of Mechanical tender documents
  • Providing technical support and advice to clients and colleagues
  • Attending internal and external meetings to discuss project requirements and progress
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information for accurate cost estimates
  • Producing take-offs and obtaining best quotes from suppliers

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical qualifications
  • Experience in Mechanical design or estimating
