Job Summary
Livewell Southwest CIC is looking for an exceptional Child and Adolescent Mental Health Manager to oversee the development and implementation of the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST). As a key member of the Children, Young People and Families Service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to meet the needs of children, young people, and their parents/carers in an educational community setting.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for the overall management of a locality MHST, including line management of staff, financial and performance management. You will work closely with the senior mental health lead in each school or college to introduce or develop a whole-school approach. Your expertise will help shape the direction of the service, driving improvements and innovation to achieve outstanding results.

Main Duties
  • Develop and implement the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in an educational community setting.
  • Manage a locality MHST, including line management of staff, financial and performance management.
  • Collaborate with schools and colleges to introduce or develop a whole-school approach.

Person Specification
A degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or nursing is preferred. Experience working in a children's mental health setting is essential. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as well as the ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently. We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
