We are seeking a Senior Legal Compliance Specialist to join our team in Cirencester. As a key member of the St. James's Place Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's compliance with all legal requirements while maintaining good relationships with regulators.

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor looking for a commercial role with great training in a leading financial services business.

Key responsibilities include providing legal advice and support to key contact client departments, the Field Management Team, and Administration Centres. You will also manage and investigate pension death benefit claims, review potential financial adviser recruits' existing contracts, and assist with Subject Access Requests.

To be successful in this role, you will have a Law Degree or equivalent post-graduate qualification, understanding of the SJP Partnership, the Financial Ombudsman Service, GDPR, and Data Protection Act 2018. You will be able to absorb, understand, and analyse complex legal issues and suggest pragmatic solutions.

The ideal candidate will be risk-sensitive but not risk-averse, able to explain complex legal issues to different audiences, and possess excellent communication skills.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, private medical insurance, meaningful protection benefits, a non-contributory pension, parental leave, and flexible working arrangements.
