About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Mitsubishi Electric. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing and supporting IT infrastructure, application systems, and services for our UK and Irish branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the wider IT team to lead and mentor team members
  • Providing third-level technical support on all aspects of IT applications and infrastructure
  • Dealing with critical system issues and enterprise-wide systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and computer systems
  • Troubleshooting application, system, and network issues
  • Implementing, testing, and evaluating new technologies
  • Implementing information security standards and policies
  • Managing and resolving incidents, problems, and requests within agreed SLAs
  • Assisting in the configuration and installation of hardware and software
  • Continuously working process review for better quality and improved service and support
  • Documenting and maintaining procedures and processes used within the department
