Job Overview

Oxford Pride is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Board of Trustees as a Non-Executive Governance Trustee. This is a voluntary, unpaid position with expenses only.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance and oversight to our Directors and Team, ensuring the charity delivers its charitable aims and operates within recommended and legal guidelines.

Responsibilities will include overseeing all activities of the charity, acting as an advisor to the Management Committee, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

We are looking for an individual with strong governance skills, experience in financial management, and a commitment to the values of Oxford Pride.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all activities of the charity and act as an advisor to the Management Committee
  • Ensure that the charity does not breach any requirements or rules set out in its Policies
  • Act as a neutral mediator in disputes and resolve issues

This role requires a minimum time commitment of 10 hours per month.

Salary Estimate

A salary estimate for this position is £20,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
