About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at Holmhurst Medical Centre. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, and prescribing medication as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake consultations as an autonomous practitioner, using advanced clinical practice skills and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, prescribe, and refer patients.
  • Be proactive in clinical decision making, underpinned by an advanced level of theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Work effectively with other agencies to provide a high-quality service to patients.
  • Use professional judgement in managing complex and unpredictable care events and capture any learning from these experiences to improve patient care and delivery.

Requirements

  • Valid NMC or HCPC registration.
  • PG certification.
  • Irmer certification (desirable).
  • MSc (desirable).
  • 2 years of paramedic experience (essential).
  • 1 year of nursing experience (essential).

About Us

Holmhurst Medical Centre is a 3-partner GMS practice with an increasing list size (currently 10,200 patients). We are a training practice, CQC rated Good, and consistently high QoF achievement. We have a multidisciplinary team committed to our local community with Midwife and District Nurse support, IAPT as well as onsite consultant clinics. We are supported by excellent nursing and administration teams and provide a range of services including minor ops and offsite clinics in a school and nursing home.
