Warehouse and Stores Operative

The Warehouse and Stores Operative will provide support and assistance to existing team members within the warehouse, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and the provisioning of routers for key Service Provider customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Receiving and booking in goods from suppliers, highlighting any quantity discrepancies immediately.
- Dispatching customer orders in a timely fashion, using handheld terminals to pick and pack and appropriate packing materials for safe transportation.
- Maintaining prescribed safety requirements in the warehouse.
- Conducting stocktaking using current company procedures to ensure accurate stock numbers for quantity, value, and location.
- Filing goods-in/despatch paperwork in a tidy and logical manner.
- Keeping all areas in the warehouse neat and tidy.
- Operating a reach truck and using Sage software.
- Some experience of working within a warehouse environment and using warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes of equipment up to approximately 20Kgs each.
- Basic computer literacy for tasks such as spreadsheets and email.
- Good communication and time management skills.
