MAC Cosmetics - Assistant Manager - Job Opportunity

Job Summary

MAC Cosmetics is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop our team of Retail Artists to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in leading the team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Coach and develop Retail Artists to improve their skills and performance.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock control.
  • Contribute to creating and executing in-store events to drive sales and engagement.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the store, including cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven retail management experience, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
  • Experience in setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling.
  • Previous retail operations experience, including inventory and facilities management.
  • Proven track record of leading, coaching and developing a team to succeed.
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events.
  • Flexible availability across days/hours.
  • A proficient skill level using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proof of right to live and work in the country.
