Steel Fabrication Job Description

This role involves working as a skilled erector and fabricator for hire. The successful candidate will be responsible for building special purpose equipment and interpreting drawings.

About the Company

We are a leading independent company providing steel fabrication and engineering services through various sectors in the UK. Our current project is a large-scale site in Bristol, with plans for additional sites next year.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar industry
  • MMA, MIG, and TIG welding skills
  • Slinger signaller certs for crane lifting operations (advantageous)
  • Telescopic forklift certs (advantageous)
  • IPAF / MEWP certs (desirable)
Working Conditions

You will work 90% of the time on-site, with occasional external away working required. The use of access equipment will be necessary for this role.

Salary and Benefits
  • £35,000 - £45,000 per year (dependent on experience)
  • 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme available
