Personal Assistant for Female Client with Brain Injury

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a female client with a traumatic brain injury in her own home in the Wisbech area. The ideal candidate will have previous care experience and a strong understanding of brain injury.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the client with personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, and daily living tasks
- Assist the client with her interests and hobbies, including horse-riding, cooking, and visiting family
- Drive the client's vehicle, requiring a full, clean UK driving licence
- Work a 25-hour week, spread over a 3-week rota, with flexibility to cover additional shifts due to sickness or holidays
- Enhanced DBS disclosure
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Previous care experience and understanding of brain injury
- Commitment to long-term care for one client in a person-centred way
- Willingness to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs
- Hourly pay rate of £12.50 per hour

- Annual leave paid at 5.6 weeks per annum, pro-rata
As a Personal Assistant with HomeCareDirect, you will receive full support and supervision from your dedicated Regional Care Lead, as well as training and support from your local HCD Community Nurse Assessor.
