About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to join our team at NHS Fife. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert assessment and rehabilitation services to adults with neurological disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare teams, including stroke units, major trauma teams, and neurosurgery, to ensure seamless care coordination
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines to improve patient care and outcomes
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Full GMC Registration and a license to practice
- Eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register
- Higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview
- Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR - Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded
- Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training
