Safeguarding Social Services Professional

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Children Safe and Protect Team as a Child Protection Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with children and families facing complex challenges, conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs.
About This Role:
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring child-centered safeguarding and support plans, working closely with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to achieve positive outcomes. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory and professional standards, advocating for the voices of children to ensure their perspectives are central to decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children in need, children on child protection plans, and looked-after children.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor child-centered safeguarding and support plans.
- Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory and professional standards.
- Advocate for the voices of children, ensuring their perspectives are central to decision-making.
Salary Details:
This role offers a competitive pay-rate of £50 per hour. Randstad Care provides an unlimited referrals incentive, giving you a £300 voucher for anyone you refer (T&Cs apply).
