Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with a KS2 Year 4 pupil with ADHD in a mainstream primary school in Sale.

About the Role:

  • Work one-to-one with a pupil who requires additional support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the school's Year 4 teacher to ensure a cohesive class environment.
  • Develop strategies to manage the pupil's behaviour and promote engagement in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to the pupil, adapting to their needs and learning style.
  • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring the pupil's inclusion and participation.
  • Monitor and record the pupil's progress, reporting back to the teacher and other relevant staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
