Maintenance and Efficiency Expert

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance and Efficiency Expert to join our team at Omega Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC-controlled equipment, attending to breakdowns onsite, and delivering on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Performing fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC-controlled equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Attending to breakdowns onsite to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Delivering on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
  • Working closely with the Site Engineering Manager to continually improve performance.

Essential Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained or NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline (electrical or mechanical).
  • Ideal experience with automated materials handling and/or packaging machines.
  • Production line experience, with opportunities for training and development.
