Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced diesel engine maintenance technician to join our team in the field-based position. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to ensure efficient customer service.
The role demands adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on resolving claims promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend breakdowns and diagnose engine-related issues
- Implement repair or replacement solutions to minimize downtime
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions
- Utilize technical expertise to close out claims efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in diesel engine maintenance
- An NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical discipline
- A valid driver's license
- Proven experience in engine fault finding and diagnosis
