Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engine Technician to join our team at RAF Lossiemouth. As a key member of our Propulsion Support Facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of assets, as well as performing visual inspections and repairs on engines and associated hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe movement of all assets throughout the facilities, including forklift and crane operation
  • Unpacking and re-packing of engines and LRIs as necessary
  • Visual and Boroscope inspection of engines and associated hardware
  • Removal, installation, and repair of engine modules and accessories
  • Implementation of outstanding engineering instructions and modifications
  • Data business tasks on both engine and aircraft electronic systems (raising and recording completion of work orders)
  • Maintenance of a tidy and equipped workshop – use of 5S principles
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,047 per annum, plus benefits, including up to 6% contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and access to a range of discounts and exclusive deals.
