Culinary Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Casa di Lusso Nursing Home in Bridgwater. As a Cook, you will have the opportunity to provide home-cooked, nutritious meals for our residents, taking into consideration their likes, dislikes, and specialist diets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a 4-weekly menu in collaboration with the Head Cook and Home Manager
- Prepare meals that cater to residents' preferences and specialist needs, including fortifying meals and textured diets
- Ensure the kitchen team adheres to infection control and health & safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate kitchen records
- Follow procedures for ordering, delivering, storing, and preserving stock, including stock rotation
- Attend meetings and training as required
- Stay up-to-date with the latest legislation and company policies and procedures
- Comply with Food Safety Agency and HACCP guidelines
- Additional £2 per hour overtime enhancement
