At WTW, we are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Penetration Testing group, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in network infrastructure and providing recommendations for mitigation.

About the Role

This role involves conducting thorough assessments and penetration tests to uncover potential security risks. You will work closely with our global multi-disciplined security community to ensure seamless collaboration and top-down support across the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Network Security Testing: Perform controlled attacks on network infrastructure to simulate real-world hacking attempts and identify potential entry points for attackers.
  • Network Security Assessments: Conduct switch and router configuration assessments to identify misconfigurations or overly permissive rules.
  • Be a Network Security Expert for the offensive security team, providing guidance and expertise on network-related matters.
  • Security Analysis: Create detailed reports outlining the risks associated with each vulnerability and provide recommendations for mitigation.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, with experience in penetration testing or a willingness to learn. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest web application and infrastructure vulnerabilities, attack techniques, security tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Network Technologies: Extensive experience with network infrastructure equipment is essential.
  • Web Application Security: Knowledge of web application vulnerabilities, common attack techniques, and mitigation strategies is required.
  • Penetration Testing Techniques: Proficiency in various penetration testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks is preferred.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex web application environments, identify vulnerabilities, and exploit them is essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
