About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to work within a manufacturing company at one of their leading automated factories. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair machinery breakdowns and problems, using your technical skills and knowledge to identify and resolve issues.
- Assist with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts to maintain efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
- Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments.
- Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery.
- Any experience of SOME of the following; Belts, Chains, Gear Boxes, Pumps, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Fabricating etc.
- Motivated and driven to succeed.
- Will to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company.
