Job Description:

We are seeking a Property Steward for Outdoor Spaces to join our team at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of our outdoor spaces, including our facilities, boardwalks, buildings, and hides.

About the Role:

This is a varied role that requires physical fitness, practical skills, and a can-do attitude. You will work independently and as part of a team to maintain our outdoor spaces and ensure they remain safe and accessible for our visitors.

You will be responsible for tasks such as repairing and building timber fences, gates, barriers, signage, benches, and other woodwork, making bird and mammal nest boxes, and tern rafts, painting metalwork and timberwork with appropriate preservatives, and helping with exhibit maintenance.

Requirements:
  • Experience in carpentry, ideally with qualifications
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions

Salary and Benefits:
