Robotics Automation Development in the MedTech Industry

A dynamic team of engineers, scientists, and robotics specialists working on automation solutions have an opportunity for a commercially experienced Robotics Software Developer. This is a chance to be involved in all stages of software and product development, giving your input on topics such as system architecture, prototype design, implementation, analysis, testing, and debugging.

Comfortable working in multi-disciplined teams, you enjoy sharing ideas and getting to grips with new concepts quickly. A flexible approach and collaborative nature would come in handy, but it is your breadth of technical knowledge and experience with the product development lifecycle that would be particularly advantageous in this role.

You will need:
  1. A good degree in a relevant technical subject, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  2. Evidence of success in a commercial software development position, ideally showcasing your ability to lead software development within a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Excellent knowledge of Python and either C++ or C#.
  4. Experience working on large-scale, safety-critical systems, in particular robotics control systems.
  5. Familiarity with industrial, networked communication protocols, along with robotic prototyping software such as ROS 1 or 2.
  6. Fully qualified to work in the UK without restriction.

Based in modern facilities in a rural setting, with good links to London and the centre of Cambridge, this friendly and energetic start-up offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package to successful candidates.
