Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Paediatric Nurse to join our team at the Treehouse Unit, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children of all ages, working in partnership with relatives and carers to develop and implement/improve standards of patient care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibility for Patient Care
Assessing the individual's care needs, developing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care to meet needs of patients and undertake all forms of care within the clinical environment.
Liaising with staff from multi-disciplines in matters relating to patient care and equipment relevant to nursing care.
Ensure that nursing care is appropriate, provided and is consistent with clinical guidelines.
Promote the safeguarding of vulnerable patients in line with national and local policy.

Education & Qualifications
Essential
- Current 1st level UK Registration RSCN or RN(child)
- Preparation for Mentorship certificate or experience as a student assessor/supervisor.
- Relevant post registration course appropriate to the clinical area

- Computer literacy

- Experience of working in paediatric clinical areas
- Experience of delivering paediatric patient care
- Experience of supervising others

- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
