Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at Resolute Recruitment. As a Class 1 HGV driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, unloading cargo, and communicating with customers and transport offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to various locations, adhering to strict time schedules and safety protocols.
  • Unload cargo from trailers using electric pump trucks, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and transport offices, providing updates on delivery status and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deliveries and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1/Category C+E driving license.
  • Valid in-date CPC & Digi cards.
  • At least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience, required for insurance purposes.
  • Previous experience in store delivery is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving license, with no DR/DD/BA offenses.
