Vehicle Mechanic Job Opportunity in Milton Keynes

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our dynamic workshop team at a leading Franchised Car Dealership in Milton Keynes.

About the Role:

  1. Deliver exceptional servicing and repair work adhering to manufacturer guidelines
  2. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics for electrical and mechanical issues
  3. Undertake cambelt, clutch, gearbox, and engine repairs/replacements as required
  4. Provide efficient warranty repair services to customers

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a vehicle mechanic after completing apprenticeship
  • Holding a full UK driving licence

Preferred Attributes:

  1. Possession of manufacturer or IMI accreditation
  2. Previous experience working within franchised dealerships
  3. Current MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) - assistance will be provided to obtain this certification if needed

Salary and Benefits:

  • Up to £32,000 base salary depending on qualifications and experience
  • On-target earnings of £38,000
  • Extensive benefits package including manufacturer-provided training
