We require a skilled Timber Refinisher to join our team in Wroxham, Norfolk.

Key Job Details:

This is a permanent, full-time role involving the preparation and finishing of timber and GRP components for various marine and luxury yacht projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing surfaces for finishing by filling, masking, and sanding timber and GRP.
  • French polishing and repairing finished cabins and boat furniture.
  • Applying finishes to solid and veneered timber products using water-based lacquers, paints, and hard wax oils.
  • Spraying paint systems on timber and GRP as required.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of painting and varnishing procedures.
  • Experience working with wood, including repairs.
  • Ability to work in a team on large-scale projects while also working independently on smaller tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet quality control inspections.

The estimated salary for this position is between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
