**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced Research Scientist to join our Risk Team in the HSE's Science Division (SD).

The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk and process safety, with expertise in AI research and development.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge solutions for various risk and process safety topics, including major accident hazard industries and emerging NetZero technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AI-powered solutions for risk assessment and mitigation
  • Collaborate with industry experts and stakeholders to identify emerging risks and develop strategies to address them
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform HSE policy and guidance on AI applications in risk and process safety

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AI research and development, particularly in risk and process safety
  • Strong publication record in top-tier AI conferences and journals
