We are seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our successful practice in Leicester Fosse Park, located within a flagship Pets at Home store.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled veterinary surgeon to work with our team of 5 Vets, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 7 Receptionists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients and delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities- To perform surgical procedures using modern state-of-the-art equipment, including orthopaedic, soft tissue, digital x-ray, ultrasound, IDEXX blood machines, and dental x-ray.
- To work collaboratively with our nursing team to provide comprehensive patient care and develop treatment plans.
- To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in veterinary medicine and surgery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits including:
