Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team as a Senior Care Specialist in Complex Support. This role involves providing high-quality care to clients with spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, and long-term disabilities.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients with complex needs, including PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, and seizure management
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored care plans
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to clients and their loved ones
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a complex care setting
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
