About the Job:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Waste Management Technician to join our team at Tradebe, a leading provider of industrial waste recovery and treatment services.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting technical assessments, segregating, labeling, and packaging waste on client sites, as well as safely loading waste onto transport vehicles and driving company vehicles to hazardous waste sites for disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Assessment and Waste Handling: Conduct thorough technical assessments of waste on client sites, segregate and label waste according to regulations, and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
  2. Transportation and Logistics: Safely load waste onto transport vehicles using material handling equipment and drive company vehicles to designated hazardous waste sites for disposal.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to EU Drivers Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and local laws regulating safe driving and the handling of Dangerous Goods.
Requirements:
  1. Educated to minimum HNC level in Chemistry or related discipline (Essential).
  2. Technically competent in the handling of hazardous waste (Essential).
Benefits:
  • Salary range: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.
