About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Consultant Haematologist to join our team at Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our haematology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and contributing to the development of our haematology services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage patients with haematological disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct research to improve patient outcomes and advance haematology knowledge
  • Teach and train junior doctors and medical students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making

Requirements:

  • GMC registration as a Consultant Haematologist
  • Relevant experience in haematology, ideally in a consultant role
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with patients and colleagues
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest haematology research and guidelines
