Principal Building Surveyor

Venn Group is seeking an experienced and skilled Principal Building Surveyor to join their team of property professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team to support and deliver the Property Asset Management Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of surveyors and technical experts to support and deliver the Property Asset Management Strategy
  • Reshape the property portfolio, including historic listed buildings and a broad range of building types
  • Determine and specify maintenance requirements to meet the needs of the Council's building programmes
  • Manage the provision of design, feasibilities, specifications, and drawings to address maintenance problems
  • Undertake and/or organize site surveys and investigations relating to structural problems
  • Advise on complex technical aspects of new products, building methods, and procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience and enthusiasm to manage the team to provide an efficient and effective maintenance management and advice service
  • Customer-focused and innovative approach, substantial experience in the surveying industry, and varied building maintenance disciplines
  • Professional Qualification to Degree Level in Building Surveying or equivalent Professional Body Qualification
