We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for planning, performing, and completing the audit process for each assignment. Your primary goal will be to ensure clients receive a high-quality service through effective resource management and liaison with relevant departments.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing relationships with key client contacts
  • Ensuring clients receive an efficient and proactive service, exceeding their expectations
  • Identifying issues and agreeing resolutions with client Partners or Directors, ensuring they are up-to-date with job progress
  • Awareness of commercial aspects of clients' businesses and their impact on our work
  • Identifying and highlighting opportunities for Evelyn Partners apparent from work undertaken
  • Regular discussions with clients to confirm progress, identify solutions to hurdles, and ensure reasonable expectations are met

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ACA, CA, ACCA qualification or equivalent
  • Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients
  • Demonstrable experience in supervising others and delegation of work
  • Ability to motivate staff to ensure the best performance
  • Demonstrable ability to organize self and others, ensuring work on several different assignments at one time
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, directors, staff, and other professionals
  • Ability to proactively monitor costs against budget for individual clients
