Janitorial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Janitorial Specialist - Building Services to join our team at DSV Road GmbH. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that all buildings and facilities are well-maintained and functional.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain offices, cubicles, conference rooms, restrooms, and other office spaces clean and organized.
• Prepare conference rooms with coffee, drinks, and food as needed.
• Maintain storage areas in a neat and clean condition.
• Clean exterior grounds, including bay areas, lobby entrances, etc.
• Empty trash receptacles daily or as necessary.
• Replace or refill water dispensers in warehouse and office areas daily or as needed.
• Check office and warehouse lighting weekly and report outages to supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building and equipment.
• Operate various types of equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, or pallet jack.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
