Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Further Education College in the Liverpool and Birkenhead area.

About the Role:

This is a temporary position offering various hours. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work within our Learning Support Department, supporting students on their courses of study. Your responsibilities will include delivering education and training to high standards, preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work, and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student achieves their best.

About You:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting students in their studies and have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. You will have experience working with students or apprentices in a college or educational setting, and be upbeat, motivational, and knowledgeable in the subject area to educate and inspire learners.

Requirements:
  • Level 2 in English and Maths
  • DBS on the update service
  • Experience of working with individuals with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities
  • Experience of providing additional support in a learning environment
  • Experience of providing additional support for Literacy and/or Numeracy
