Supporting Boarding Community Lead

About the Role
As a key member of our boarding community team, you will play a vital role in the wellbeing and care of our students. Reporting to the Director of Boarding, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day care of boarders in your charge, safeguarding their welfare, and promoting a fulfilling educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing expert care and support to students, promoting their academic, musical, and social development;
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students at all times, adhering to the School's safeguarding and child protection policies;
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a seamless and supportive experience;
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to the Director of Boarding and other relevant staff;
- Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive boarding community, promoting respect, empathy, and understanding among students and staff;
- Participating in whole-School events and activities, promoting the School's values and ethos.

Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A strong background in residential care or a related field;

- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts;
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with a proven understanding of relevant policies and procedures;
- Ability to work as part of a team, supporting the development of a positive and inclusive boarding community.
