Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Tutor to join our team at LMP Action Alternative Provision. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging sessions, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to encourage their growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality educational sessions that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to share best practices and ensure consistency in our approach.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and training to maintain a high level of professionalism.
Requirements
- Teaching or training qualifications.
- Mentoring and coaching qualifications (desirable).
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with ADHD and ASD.
- DBS clearance (essential).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
