Prospero Teaching is seeking a Specialist SEMH Tutor to deliver bespoke tuition packages to young people with SEMH who cannot currently access mainstream education.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEMH teaching professional to provide engaging and innovative lesson plans with our resources to students who are unable to access education.

About the Role:

We require a Specialist SEMH Tutor to:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience working with children with SEND.
  • Demonstrate empathy and inclusivity in the classroom environment.
  • Bring fresh ideas and innovative teaching methods to engage and motivate students.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Be an advocate for children with SEND, championing their rights and potential.

Requirements:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
