ROV Superintendent Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ROV Superintendent to join our team in the offshore industry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of our underwater projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of assigned ROV systems and ensure all tasks are performed according to internal and external requirements.
  • Ensure all equipment and devices for the ROV system are in compliance with applicable rules and regulations, including safety equipment.
  • Update ROV system documentation and maintain accurate ROV logs, reports, and quality of service records.
  • Act as liaison with vessels and onshore ROV department, participating in familiarisation and debriefing sessions.
  • Evaluate ROV systems maintenance schedules and advise onshore support on technical matters or procedures.

Requirements

  • Formal technical and/or administrative education.
  • Nine years of total experience from ROV operations, three as a ROV Supervisor.
  • Documented Imca based competence log for ROV Supervisor.
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing.
